Na the 12inch rims got Frisbeed when i went for disc brake conversion. The space saver is not a bad idea. How funny is that !! a 15inch space saver with datto stud pattern. (who knows of any?) Also custom making a tyre support to suit 15inch is also a nice idea. Who has done this any pic's or suggestions ??

When i got my ute the spare TRX rim was strapped in the tray, and there was no cage/suppert for the spare. So im wondering if on the 1200 Ute, does the spare tyre support under the tray hold a rim bigger than 12inch ?? (as per standard) Also Im currently looking for the support cage (let me know if you can help with a spare)

In NSW i have been told the Ute is the only 1200 you can engineer a 2L turbo as it can be registered for commercial use under a buisness name. All other 1200's it would be 2L Non turbo or the famous CA18T. I personally would much rather go the 2L over CA18 anyday L20T/FJ20T/SR20T all very nice engines and rip rip.

Im going for two diff centres on my ute a locker and standard to start with. As a locker or LSD is like American Express Card (dont leave home with-out it) but for sunday driving and parking the standard is ready to go. Im going to rap this post with there is somthing for eveyone a daily driver is BEST with a std or LSD and a cruiser that comes out once a week to rip the roads and blow a few cars away the locker wont dissapoint.

Who has adjustable castor rods?, i heard you have to modify the front guards. Does any one have any pic's or info on what's required to do this mod.
I was reading in the 1200 tech section and could only find the below info:
Andrew machined 60mm more thread on the castor rods to get some more castor (which required some modifications to the front guards for clearance).

I agree with the racing classes the A12 is a bit more flexable. But i would say the main reason is the cost. cheap and available everywhere. I know that in my street car i would much rather have a tuff A14/15 than a baby A12. If you can get a motor for nothing and upgrade at the same time then you cant go wrong.
