Yes they are plentiful, for example on ebay. Seems the same part was used for many cars over decades.

Part number is 46584-S0100 or 46512-H0101 according to the wiki.

I see the issue. A little plastic bump on the upper pedal has disintegrated so the switch fails to turn off.

My rear brake lights are always on even when ignition is off. Brakes seem fine and fluid is topped up. Am I looking at an electrical fault?

You need a pinion with ~20% more teeth, i.e, about two teeth more than what you are currently running.
