FOR SALE: 1974 120y Sedan, Manual.

$3400

Solid car, stock, very straight, complete, runs well, starts very easily, drives.
Rust in drivers door and in passenger side sill, minimal otherwise.
Paint is original and fair in some spots, good in others.
Battery is weak.

No Reg or RWC.

Located in northern suburbs Melbourne.

Yes they are plentiful, for example on ebay. Seems the same part was used for many cars over decades.

I see the issue. A little plastic bump on the upper pedal has disintegrated so the switch fails to turn off.

My rear brake lights are always on even when ignition is off. Brakes seem fine and fluid is topped up. Am I looking at an electrical fault?

You need a pinion with ~20% more teeth, i.e, about two teeth more than what you are currently running.
