Tested out the battery pack directly on the starter of another car at home and that seems to work. Hopefully can get it home. Roll start might be easier but the road is flat and fairly busy.

Hi all. My bonnet wont open. I'm guessing the release cable has slipped. Anyone know any tricks to popping it open?

A comedy of errors really as I'm parked in a busy street and the battery has just gone flat. :^/

Just started raining too haha.

Can I put jumper leads straight onto the starter and the chassis?

Yes indeed, 66820-H5000, that is the very part I'm looking for.

I'm wondering if the one wire type is for electronic ignitions. An EI doubles the number of amps to the two wire tach, as it runs in series with the coil. And installing an EI is known to fry the factory tach.

I believe we what have here is a B210 round tach on the left, and a B211 on one the right. Note the different wiring. The B211 one looks like a one wire tach. It has a single black/green wire. The B210 one has a pair of black/white wires.

I think they didn't fit over 120y front hubs.

I wonder if you use could use the ordinary harness? The main cluster and tach should be fine.

Then make a little connector from the clock plug to share with the Amp/Volt meter, and the oil gauge. Then just add a wire from the oil pressure sender to the oil gauge. The Amp meter has extra white and white/red wires. The volt meter just has one plug like the clock.

I have the dash and all gauges just no harness.

Free to good bad or indifferent home:

- H145 axle drum to drum - From memory it made some noise changing when gear. (from '74 120y)
- Five 13x5 XP falcon wheels. Fits 1200s well

Pick up Preston Melbourne.
