For the record my G5110 distributor does have the J117 Mitsubishi ignitor set. Also has a Mitsubishi marked cap and the rotor is marked with both Nissan and Mitsubishi logos.

Interestingly BProjects is selling a distributor that looks like the Chinese copies of the G5110 on ebay, and it suggests a 3.0 ohms coil in the diagram.

Yep my friend tells me "bolt" and "volt" are homophones in Japanese.

I just asked my friend who is a native Japanese speaker, and yep, "tachometer bolt attachment" is how he tranlates it. It's an odd looking tach though with the second set of figures.

Ok that is great info DD. I cannot confirm yet about the ignitor set as I do not have the dizzy in my hand.

Edit:
So for example this coil?

I have a few questions about the G5110 distributor.

- Is this considered to be a "high energy" (HEI) distributor?
- Is the ballast resistor supposed to be part of the ignition circuit when using it?
- What coil is appropriate?

Thanks

Here's a scan of the installation booklet for B210 and PB210 options. Lots of rare info here.

It's a new build, new water pump and new Gemini radiator. The radiator seems narrow and there's a large gap between the fan and radiator. Those aluminum raditors look a lot wider.

Looking for a fan shroud to suit stock 120y radiator. Car is running a little hot for my liking and starts to overheat in traffic :/

A guy invents an aircraft based on a Ford Pinto. Not unsurprisingly he's killed by his own invention. If only he chose a Datsun 1000 instead history could have turned out very differently, and he would've saved a few bucks too.
