personally i will still go for the 8.3 with 11psi it will be drivable anyway even u will have less vibration on idling.

its not a technical opinion but personal - what i will do if i was in the situation

when taking off the top cover of a carb before you put it again in place you have to check somethings.

1st the gasket is good. it is the top part of the carb that needs to be filed. most of the carbs do this.

the top of the carb tends to ret round in face for about 1mm so what u need is to file the corners and check the gap by putting it over the body of the carb.

when the gap is at around half that of the thickness of the gasket. then you can have a good working carb. even problems with pump will eliminate them selves

but 510 and b310 or 210 have the same boltsetup into the ball joint. only that the b310's ball joint goes out a little like the one int the pic. am i right???

and if the lower arm is setable i thing it will perfectly go since u can adjust the lenght u want.

the only problem i see is the tension rod. im not sure about its lenght.

having a 4.1 ratio diff will give u a better acceleration but you will have a small decrease in the top speed on the 3.7

a 180sx transmittion will be good for you. but i don't think that the studs will perfectly fit. would not cost you more than 300euros
