Thanks for all your replies - it's all about the principle of the matter. Done the deal Friday night after takin a test drive, (agreed to pay asking price) had to phone him about pickup Sat when engine etc. was removed from car. On Sat morning I happened to phone about receipts for engine parts and he then told me that he'd been offered more money had sold it for more $'s. I'm just really disapponted that some people can't honour their word.
