well i got a price on machining and a rebuild kit and thought i might aswell stoke it while i was at it and woundering whats involved in fitting an e16 crank and also what compresion ratio should i run

took the head off and found that iv done the rings in the No. 2 & 3 will post some pic aswell so now it time for a rebuild. other than that the engines in good nick also found out that the head was a high comp one to and about the 350 been to big the engine is turboed so not really and it goes much harder than it did with the stock carby and a webber

well i done some damage to my engine this arvo i put a 350 holley on it and it was running heaps better took it for a drive all of a sudden it died in power then stoped. Parked it in the shed got it started and No. 2 cyl wasnt firing and smoke was coming out of tappet cover breather ive put it down to melted piston broken rings or a head gasket. doesnt seam to be running lean and it only running 3-4 psi
can any one help with a daiganosis before i go tearing it down

the line on the passenger side is some sort of vent line could i use this for the return line or not. and how do you go about lockin the dizzy

the pump that i had was a carter black low pressure my new carter black high pressure and regulator will be hear tomorrow or thursday. with the return line ,on the passanger side theres a line with a valve with rubber hoses coming off of it that looks like it goes back to the tank could i use this as the return or not. with locking the dizzy how do you go about doing that and do you still use the vaccuum advance , when i put the turbo on i disconected it anyway

what fuel pumps would be suited to this setup i want something thats reasonable cheap if possible. with the return line is there another line on the car that i can use or do i just run another one

after doing a little reserch i found out they sold me a carter silver not a carter black which explains why i cant boost it over 4psi
