Yeah would work fine. And better than the said inserted extra. I'm pretty sure the factory pipe ends have a radiused flare so that it seals to the chamfered edge pictured above.

I did mine recently and rolled a small ring and welded that to the pipe-end to replicate the radiused flare.

What is the business name? Do you have images of the poor workmanship? Was the vehicle a Datsun?

Who reccomended you to him?

Sorry to hear, it is always best to conduct regular inspections at payment intervals.

Thanks, will keep that in mind. I'd still have to order through Australia though.

Looking for a good to excellent condition rear view mirror for my 1200 ute. Not interested in the cheap eBay #OOPS#, and anyway they're a strange pale grey colour.

I am also after the little bezel/trim that surrounds the shift boot on the centre console.

So the units in the 200SX article are from the Z20E 200SX?

What about using the GA16 or E15E systems common in wrecking yards in Australia? I'm quite sure the E15E was of a similar era to the Z20E?

Thomen, I'd be inclined to take a stroll in the Nissan section of your local pick-a-part and see what goodies you come across.

Not huge strides of development but you can certainly see the improvement.

This configuration featured a CV sidedraft SU-esque motorcycle carburettor (throttle valve & slide).

Who would've thought that one of the earliest A-Series engines was bike-carbed!

That first manifold pictured looks like it would work particularly well.

The last manifold pictured is reminiscent of the infamous GX & T series (& not so infamous KB10) twin outlet with a few subtle changes.
