Thank you, this fits into a 1200 engine bay, there is some work required to reroute the water lines but it clears quite well. I would not have to cut the water pipe so short on the taller a series block but the shorter stroke brings the manifold lower.

Yeah I agree the plenum can be smaller.

A piece of pipe is much easier and more suitable than a carb balancer. You simply listen for the noise difference and adjust accordingly.

I've owned many sets of carbs and tuned lots of them too. I use a length of heater hose.
