but you need a diff. cross member for a ca18det.
er...I was under the impression there other things involved in dropping in a Ca18det besides this?
Maybe like the cutting of transmission tunnel out in a manual?
I could be wrong but if not... Miosabamf should be aware of such things before he goes straight into it.

A wise person once said to me "people who don't know how to build cars shouldn't build cars!!!"

Thats the dumbest thing ive ever heard!

Comments like that are not helpful...dont enlighten anyone and even attempt to discourage people from learning more about thier interests...in short...Incredibly stupid!

...a REAL wise person would impart thier knowledge to teach and inform others so they can know how to build cars themselves.Which Evilbetty is doing, obviously not in the way you would prefer...sorry to hear that

Hey peeps,I was wondering if any of you have a pic of whats under the roof lining of a 1200 ute?

Mine has had the roof lining replaced sans visors or rearview mirror...and Im thinking of re-installing at least the mirror (the existing stick to the window one doesnt quite cut it for me)
Problem is I dont want to pull off the roof lining or drill through it without knowing what the brackets look like under there!

Pain in the bum request I know...but if by chance anyone has a pic to give me some idea itd be a great help and much appreciated.

Look around for laser cutters. I use a small laser cutter business and they are quite cheap. I found the big places dont want to know.
.

Im always keen to have contact info for such a service here in Melbourne for my silversmithing projects... care to share?

There was a sweet as datto wagon for a split second in the NZ reality series "City Beat" last night...before it went back to painting a very grim and scary picture of downtown nightlife in Auckland :(
