im in dire straights,ive just fitted my reco clynder head,new valves,stem seals,rocker arm,machined,i torqured down the head and rocker arm, and the engine has a miss like its running on 3 clynders,it was running smooth as b4 i put the reco head on. can some one help me plz. this has cost me lots of money,and i dont wont to ruin it. cheers mark!

sounds about rite,my 120y being an auto, i dare say it would use about that much,one thing also when im sitting on say 100-105km/h the little a12 motor is revving like 4000rpm thats a bit much 4 a little engine do u think????

hi, does anyone have the figures or know of the fuel consumtion that a a12 engine would use ,im sure the datsun 1200 and 120y would be near the same,plz correct me if im wrong!!!! cheers mark....

yes a12, sorry dude had a hard day at work,thanx for the info, sumfn i will haf to think about,its either do it myself for the cheaper way or buy an engine already done the dearer side!!!

is it hard to replace the rings in a 12a engine , with out removing the engine!

ive got a 120y fastback ( its not that fast really) but on the rego label it says 890kg,
