Hey guys i have a 4age engine with a t40/t50 box.
I currently have the steel mounts that are straight and are bolted to the gearbox. I plan to put gearbox in place and bend some other THINNER metal as a template for each side then get bent at the correct angle to end up flat on the floor.
I have to get mopunts bent as there about 5 10 mm thick.
QUESTIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Am i on the rite track???
Do you need to run rubbers?
and do they go where the mount bolts to box or floor???
Any suggestions on where to get correct rubbers????
And should i make another plate that conects the 2 mounts together fo support???
And if so where is the stongest part to conect the 2???
I was thinking somewhere on the flat part where bolts to floor and make a big bend 2 go around the box and conect at same flat part on both sides.....
If some1 has done this before i would love your help 2 answer some of my questions.
Also WANTED booster 120y 180b 200b

I still need
GLASS BOOSTER
Beeen looking 4 3months now starting to get to me... Dont get me wrong if i find 1 of those before a booster its going on.
I have never had a dato before And this is my 1st and i bought it as a bare shell so need parts

Did you make a bracket to go from the pedal to the slave rod???
Im a bit worried if i mount it and make a bracket from the pedal it wont push straight and ware the seals out as the pedal will push on an angle.
Have you got a pic of the inside 2???
thanks for the pic it looks directly above steering colmn I was planning to go over toward passanger about 100mm from where you put it and the same height. Where the fire wall has that hump taht comes out!!
Any ideas or advice or more pics...
thanks

Could even have a crack in the exhaust side of turbo.
I had a turbo1ce that had a bit of lag and when i upgraded the turbo the turboguy said if i changed the exhaust side u would of saved money on a new turbo. it was a good size crack that opened up under extreme heat. wasnt very visable to naked eye when cold and it was mostly on the inside
I only say this as 3'' exhaust is comon and my mates dont have any lag at all.

well u cant get any narower then mine. 115x70 on 15'' rims
and they rub
i dont think dodgerman has had this prob.
I too thought a narrow rim would fit.
mine are 4'' wide and still rub.
u can change struts(seen on here) change wheels to correct offset wheel(seen on here) Modify wheels to suit(seen on here) MOdify hub(seen pics on here somewhere) or good old spacers(seen on here plenty)
All the info you want is on here and everything has been by some1 on here.
Im sure u will work it out. i did.
