Steve I'm running 200 main air jets. I've used them on my A12 making 73whp as well as the 99whp A15. The various tuning guides talk about how the air jets on FCRs work; I actually believe that is the main reason they make more power and better throttle response then other carbs.
Dave per the Nissan suspension manual the lower shock mount on my car has been lowered so it accommodates a longer shock. As for less droop travel I don't care about that is it's not an issue in a road racing application.
On my lowered coupe I'm using Koni 80-1551, they are for Alfa Romeos. The spring rate for the Alfa and the Nissan comp springs are a similar rate so thus far they appear to be working great. I've done one race weekend and a track day on them.
As I have to keep an eye on exchange rates for work I happen to know the exchange rate is .0091 so that's $14,742..............or about 10K more than my cheap arse is will to pay for a car.
I love the car and really would like a PB but alas I'm more likely to spend 15k on a race car before a road car.
I simply used the standard 60 series rubber mount and then cut a sort of u shaped plate out of 8mm flat steel plate. It's ugly as all get out but it's under the car so I don't care.
