i pulled down the a15 today, cylinders in really good condition, its got no wear there. i havnt got as far as taking the crank and pistons out so i dont know what the journals are like.

so in terms of performance, how well does the standard camshaft cope with supercharging? is it a lot less than ideal or will the difference not be massive? the car wont be raced or anything like that remember

have you dealt with kelford at all?
do you think the stock camshaft was severely slowing you down?

what sort of power will a standard clutch handle? id put a new one on there of course if it could handle the supercharger

do you know if a12 and a14 valve springs will fit on an a15 head? theres some available from my usual place and it says for a12/14 but doenst mention a15. would these be fine?

i want to make my own setup so ill give that one a miss, it will be for my old mans morry as mine just has a standard a12 in it. hes got gorse in his pockets so wont splash out like that on a setup, it will probably cost more to do it myself but that would be fine!

ok, i havnt had a dizzy apart before, last datsun engine i rebuilt i left the dizzy alone.
will the engine detonate if that isnt locked?
do double valve springs damage any other parts in the valve train if all else is standard?
do you think i should change the camshaft or will the standard one perform fine?

by mechanical advance do you mean the vaccuum advance on the dizzy?
