A couple of vids of the last speed event round at barbagellos.
I improved on my short track time but was 2 sec slower on the long track, a bit surprised because the car felt good with plenty of grip, maybe down on hp (I backed the timing off bit, wasn't using any octaine booster, had 1/2 tank of fuel on board and it was about 35 deg).

short track

long track

Should be a little bit more exciting next year in the new coupe.

got a star mower cheap cheap cheap. cylinder threw a blade whilst mowing lucky i had the catcher on. runs well but cheaply made buy a decent one. managed to weld up the blade but the cost of a new cylinder was 1/3 of the mower. the guy at the mower shop said they are false economy I think i believe him.

It wouldn't bother "emergency services" as the cutters and spreaders can easily pop a jammed door or break a window to open from the inside. Some new cars have "anti-hijacking" doors that lock as soon as the car drives over 10 kmph, what good is an outside door handle then.

More of a pain would be if your remote battery went flat or if you left your lights on, what would power the solenoid to open the door? How could you get too the bonnet latch to jump or charge the battery?

That would be me:):):) I can't wait, I'll finish off this years sprint series, do the first 1 or 2 summer hillclimbs in the ute then move up 200hp or so to the coupe for the last hillclimb then the start of next years sprints. It should be fun.

Will post pics when it arrives.

I bought a brand new set of su's from Midel, with linkages they set me back about $850. They have been excellent to deal with very helpfull on the phone when buying different needles and springs. Su's are easy to get bits for I had trouble finding parts for the hitachis. and by the time I did the cost wasn't worth overhauling them.

I just thought it might be an idea if we could keep all our cool 1200 film clips in one section. Easier to look up past clips, we could get quite a nice archive going.

just a thought.
