I have 5 pairs of 3mm steel round plates that have been cut to suit the tops of the strut tower. the three holes are pre drilled about 10mm so may need to be made bigger(depending in strut tops used). They are uncoated steel so have a bit of surface rust on them.
I needed two cut but for the minimum charge I got 15 plates
have a listen to the best sounding 1.5 litre ever! http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=fZMPDCNyQxE its not a datsun but it does run twin su's (3 inch su's with a 2 stage supercharger).
hi all I am chasing some 13 inch rims/alloys. I am in perth.
thanks Jeff
edit: I did have a set but I got them acid dipped by a friend of friend for a carton, this was supposed to clean the crap paint off but he forgot about them for 4 days and melted them. doh!! no carton for him.
I curently run 185/60r14 toyo r888 and will be needing a new set begining of next year. I think that I would like to try out some smaller tyres and wheels ie 185/60r13 to try and get through my gears quicker.
what a peoples opinion on runing smaller wheels.
I can do the whole of barbagellos in 3rd apart from coming down the hill when I get into 4th, and the front straight I can hold it to around 7400rpm or about 140kph in 3rd or I can hit 4th for a split second get a touch more speed then brake for turn 1.
if I have smaller wheels then maybe I can get into 4th earler and wind it out a bit more.
They may also help on hill climb as I seem to get stuck in second a lot and end up having to rev it right out.
this may sound dodgy but i cut some tabs out of an old 1/4 panel then rivited them in place and screwed the steel grill on. it was suposed to be temporary but other things keep taking preferance. I think the chrome light shrouds just screwed in place.
The coupe looks fantastic. How good is beating an all wheel drive sti in the wet in a rear wheel drive 30 year old car would love to know what they thought.
I wish I had been able to buy when you had it for sale. I am saving hard and not spending to much on the ute. HINT HINT!! Would love to have it here in perth doing the sprints and maybe ip.
