don't forget that those engines would last 2 hours if they were lucky.

bmw used the engine block from the turbo 2002. but they would use old engine blocks. leave them outside and piss on them before they ran them. so maybe thats the trick!

VW made a steam engine in the early 90's inline 3 (so it has the same power impluses as a inline six 4 stroke. but it wasn't double acting like a steam train)

anyway this bad boy was 1000cc made 200+hp and 500nm of torque. this engine was under no stress at all!

also so the steam cars from 1900 took about a min to reach operating temperature!

steam is the furture!

thanks for all you replies

yeah to be honnest im only chasing torque.

but i want to make a manifold. no point having this welding skill and not useing it.

ok just acouple more questions

if the exhuast manifold is steam pipe. will the heat expansion be too much to make the intake (out of ally) solid? no fleix pipe

and how far will i get before the stock fuel pump isn't able to flow enough?

over the last couple of day i've been thinking about a draw-through set up on an a12.

the engine is starting to smoke alittle but i think it might just need a hone and a new set of rings.

alright i have a t-25 turbo.
can the turbo compress fuel without any issue or does something need to be change?
also i would like to mount the turbo vertically (so i can run a down draught) is this going to make the oil or water pool up? i've heard the oil system on these turbos need gravity to circulate.

where is a good place in melbourne to get the dizzy change. changed to boost retarding etc.

thanks for your time
