I'm sure B120 will be here in a sec to tell me to stop being soft and get the twins

But When you sit down and plan a rebuild properly she soon starts adding up

Plus a decent set of twins and manifold ready to go seem so hard to find these days especially when dealing interstate

B120???????????

Whats the deal with fuel pump setups/regulators if i was to run with the twins?
Electric I'd imagine.....am I right.......more$$$

As I mentioned I'm really wanting more acceleration and off the mark power not so much top end power and speed - I've always believed in building engines for maximum torque and the rest should fall into place.

Yeah, I'm not tied up with the whole bigger is better thing.

It will be for a strong A15 street motor with full headwork, decent cam, fully balanced etc, oversize pistons(Not Forgies) etc etc.

I can't see any reason for a properly set up 32/36 to do the job - even for a while as I said to run it in even - then if the needs there go for the twins.

What sort of figures do reckon I'd be looking at with the above said mods?

I wouldn't imagine so - not with 5.5's. If its standard ride height then I'd say definately not if its been lowered then depending how far you may benefit getting the guards lipped.

Just stick'em on and take it from there i believe they are a good vehicle as far as guard clearance goes.

They should be fine - always just make sure the rolling diameter stays the same that way your speedo will still stay acurate. This will change depending on your tyre profile.
I've actually got a set of 13x5.5's in the corner of the garage that used to be on the ute

How many of you guys out there are running a Single Side Draught as opposed to a set of twins.
What sort of performance / happy / not happy???

I'm building a strong little A15 and I'm thinking of running a single or maybe even running with a 32/36 Downdraught - just to keep the cost down initially - even just to run the engine in.

How Available are Single sidies & manifolds for the a series & $$$

Thanx for any input.

Just take your time and remember not to use heaps of whatever you use or else you will end up with a huge sticky mess

I've been successful with a LOCTITE product called "Contact Adheshive".

Have also used Araldite and LOCTITE "Super Glue".

I spose it depends also if you ever want to get it off again without hurting the paint.
The Panelbeaters and spray painting guys on here may have better suggestions, we'll see.
