The bottom ends in thes things are strong as, save your money just throw the forgies in with rings, bearings and gaskets. Get the block acid dipped new welsh plugs etc and the bores done to suit your new pistons. Also get the valve stem guides done in the head these things tend to blow a bit of oil past them. otherwise you can build a bullet proof set up and it is just over kill.

Well the story so far is that while doing the ca conversion for my ute i decided to beef up the brakes. I have gone for landcruiser 60 series calipers with the S13 SR20det discs all mounted on a 200b strut. This is all done and looks and works great, but the problem is now what steering arm or Lca to use. The 200b steering arm has a different taper to the 1200 ball joint and the 200b lca is far to long to use.
So i was wondering what steering arms suit the 200b strut base or is there a bigger ball joint with the same bolt up pattern as the 1200 ones or is there a lca that is the same length, but has the ball joint that suits the bigger taper.
Any help would be great

bump.
Sorry to anyone i haven't replied to was out of the country for a while but i'm back now.
One motor is gone but the stocker is still there. Big thing is i'm over trying to organise frieght so if you want it you'll have to organise it yourself, even got into an argument with a frieght company who at the last minute wanted to classify it as dangerous goods because it had oil in it, I even said i'd drain it but they still wanted to charge an extra $300.
