The spec sheet on this car would be like writing a novel. I hope things look up mate and you can still hold on to it! I know the history of this thing has with ya!

If i had enough moeny i would buy it, even in reverse it would be too fast for me

Hey guys, my oil dipstick channel has broken off the block, not sure how but it has broken right where meets the block.

Now these channels are tapped into the block correct? The arent threaded in or anything?

Will I need to use a Easy-out to get it out and find a replacement??? What have people done in this sistuation.

Cheers

Yes Craig is right about my method. Sorry I thought you just wanted to know about the gearbox itself going in. The Hydro clutch install is the worst part. I used a 180b clutch clyinder lined it up with the clutch pedal (which was right next to the brake master in the thickest part to aviodf flex), then I just shortened the linkage on the clyinder to fit perfect to the stock pedal. Works perfect, I didnt wanna piss around with other pedal's etc

Yep 1200gxman is right. All you need to do is take the orginal mounts off which is a fun job, grind down the welds as much as possible then hammer and chisel them off. The box fits in fine. It is a little bit tight, getting oil in is abit of a pain but garden hose down the bay and squezzing the hose in works everytime. Also the reverse swtich i took off like on my old 60a box because it sticks out to far.

But other than those small things they go in no trouble.

If you want ideas on the gearbox xmemba and pic of it in have a look in my photo album, there is alot of pics of the install on there.

What was the reason for extra charge?....

With any Carb stuff go to Carb-tech in redcliff, great lads up there and do good work.
