Does anyone know the part number of the A14 Cam thrust plate? The little saddle shaped plate the retains the camshaft at the front of the block.

"Fasten the Vice-Grips then hammer the pipe out"
Hammer where? You mean like back and forth, using the Vice grips as a handle?

Anyone know a good way to remove the lower water pipe from the block? The one that comes off the water pump to the lower radiator outlet.

So as far as you know, there is only one plate? Not different ones of varying thickness?

The Tech Wiki however, shows a 5mm thick plate. Which plates came on which combos? I'm building an A14 with a 60A Gearbox, the tech says I need the short carrier and engine plate, but which plate?

Damn! Where was this when I was rebuilding my Aussie 1275 GT Mini! I spent more than this on refurbishing my VH44!

Excellent! Thanks DD!
Add: I just looked at a rear wheel stud ( all I've got to look at just now) The shank isn't splined and is 12.5mm in diameter. Those longer studs are splined and 12.9mm in diameter. Is that consistent with a standard 1200 front stud?
