alright Ive been going over my backyarder 1200 and I have ralised that the tailshaft is a 120y tailshaft with a new different yoke and the tail shaft is way too short, it only just sits in the gearbox and the gear box is leaking oil all over my exhaust, I have an a14 smooth case gear box and some wacked diff that has a different yoke pattern to a stocky 1200 tailshaft. what tailshaft should I use? Preferably one without the tack welded unijoints. How much would it cost (roughly) to get the tailshaft extended?

wouldnt you have to change the diff centre as well? cos the auto been a three speed would have stupidly low diff ratios.... dunno what im talking about really, but thats my understanding of it.
