both rubbish engines huh? sorry not all of us cut our cars to bits just to put a ca or sr in...i no id rather kick someones ass with an a series rather than with a ridiculously high powered jap motor if you want something like that buy a ss or gtr!

ok i am sure alot of people would agree with me here...a well built a14 or a15 is more then enuf hp in a dato 1200 ute...you could call my motor mildly built and it can blow vs commodores AND a vz ss away...its all good and well to put a ca18 or sr20 in but realiablity is very important...theres nothing like smashing another car with AN A SERIES and not a import turbo motor!

ok result....put 20litters of fuel in the ute and a bottle of metho...then ran ok for bout 40ks then pulled up and stalled so i tryed to start it and it refused to then adventually went but ran shocking!!! farting and backfireing loud as hell..(also carby was making wierd noise) then let one big bang out and went ok again...i need a list of possible causes for the machanic to look at so what could it be???....i also thought it cant be the carby as it only happens every now and then

i didnt think a standard cabel fitted the box...i thort you had to get a different cable drive fitted on the end that goes into the box also its not the cable that is stuffed its the drive box tread on the end....the tread fitting that holds it onto the box is buggered! must be becoz it goes to fast
