bought by trufit carpet guy. He needed an original to make a good mold off. So if you need a carpet made off a good floorpan and you're in Australia look him up. Trufitcarpets.com.au

Not a lot of progress but back up to the rear shed for painting before it gets too cold cut more out of the front radiator support to fit a radiator (still investigating) and back on the rotisserie.
Getting the hang of the mig on some minor rust repairs - they still needed a quick grind

More mocking up before the engine and tranny come back out and prep/paint
need to cut a bit out of the front valence panel to bring the intercooler forward as much as possible without showing it too much
Also ... the MADDAT clutch master fits and just misses the intake manifold ... whew - didn't really want to spend another grand on an intake plenum

I have the H74 ball joints ... just sorting out the bearings.

One thing bugging me is the intake plenum .... making sure it misses the MADDAT clutch reserve ... hmmmm

There was a bit of work to do on the drivers side rear bottom of wheel arches. The problem with living on a dirt road is that the car perpetually has dirt underneath and it holds the moisture for rust to form... oh well

3 years since updating this particular thread,
I decided to remove the side tabs since my tonneau cover doesn't use them.
also wanted to freshen up the sides.

Then you know how sometimes you can't leave well enough alone? ... I picked at a crack in the botton left corner of the passenger rear wheel arch and it turned into an exploration expedition - oh dear bog almost half an inch thick and very little metal holding it!

So the Auto transmission tunnel mounts almost line up with the S13 Manual Gearbox ... just made up this crossmember to fit it up
