Time to get moving again ... why are there so many distractions?

Removed the SR20 from the donor car (it's sold already but awaiting pickup after we can get around again).
I have the engine/5 speed/half of the tailshaft /all the engine loom and computer ... I think that's all I need (oh and the exhaust to just past the catalytic converter)

Now need to send the engine brackets and cross member off to MADDAT

still too much to do .... three things at a time!

Cleaned out the fuel tank.... nasty rust pile and a small hole. I will need a good solution

Meanwhile have bought maddat brake booster kit and a bunch of bushes. Collecting parts during the cold months

Also have been sandblasting suspension bits

I am using Enkelman Engineering in Braeside (03) 9580 3024 but advise to call to discuss - don't land on the doorstep with the car expecting them to do it.

Thanks guys. Both confirmed my assumption of the second time that the crank rotates number 1 piston up and the valves are both closed that this is the right stroke. Then i should insert the dizzy so that the rotor points to number 1 plug lead. Yes I have the right order of 1342 anticlockwise

Maybe a dumb question and I may have my own solution but here goes.

I just got my dizzy rebuilt for the coupe which has electronic ignition. I went to reinstall and set the timing marks to TDC on cyl 1.
Isn't there two TDC's ? ... one for compression and another for exhaust? So I took the oil filler cap off and worked out that the TDC with the first valve down was probably the exhaust stroke and the next rotation would be the TDC I need.

But it still will not start and backfires
Any thoughts?

I fitted one to my green sedan...just had to redo the mounts for the original grill
You should not have to worry about that with a coupe plastic grill.
