honest truth all tyre companies say thiers are the best but it all comes down to driver preference and budget. you wont really know till u try a pair, if u choose 2 u r gettin a good tyre but also depends on what u usin em 4 n what conditions.

yeah i've used heat shrink 2, common with cleanin up stereo wires n that... great stuff n pretty cheap if u buy it in long strips instead of pre cut (packaged)
can even get it online at computer sites n can get uv reactive so u can use it with a black light... looks good for internals

u should b right... how long was the 20 in there?
could have blown 4 any number o reasons but correct 1 is the 15a.
just slap a 15 in n c how she goes i don't c there bein any drama...

if it still blows with the 15 check the insulation in the wiring circuit or for anything else that could b shortin out the fuse...
