Took the ute out for a spin yesterday !! Could not get the smile off my face , loved it!!!

I only collect datsun ute models and have quite a few in different sizes etc but there is an awesome datsun collectible page on Facebook that is Australian based and has heaps of people looking to trade and show off there stuff .. We'll worth a look .. I also follow a few guys on Instagram who are customising hot wheels cars , one guy has made a 12 ute using the 620 hot weeks ute as the base and it's amazing .. If it was easier to put pics up on this forum I would chuck one up to show you ....

Thanks greendog, I agree it's a good engine package without being too crazy for a street cruiser.. And they do take a lot of abuse lol

Loving the drives now, I'll update with some pics soon .. 4age is a very solid engine to use in such a small car without being too crazy . Fun times

As for fitting , I actually drilled two extra holes where the gaps are and those bolts pull the apron and lip together so there is no gaps anymore

Sanding the top corners of the lip helps with figment aswell and you can see where you have sanded because it ends up sitting flush with the apron.
