I doubt very much why Taiwan can makes and sells front Datsun B110 chrome bumper but I never see there is any rear chrome bumper?

Anyone has a good rear Bumper for Datsun B110 which I can buy from you or can give me a link where I can buy the rear chrome bumper of the 4 doors Datsun B110.

For your information, I have installed a Modified Mazda 13B Rotary turbo into it. At the moment, it is undergoing body strengthening and 4 mudguard modification. Once the work and modification are completed, I will try to post it to share with you guys.

5 Years ago, I have mounted a 4AG turbo onto a Datsun B110 4 doors, it is quite exciting running less than 10s in 0-400M on Garret T04 turbocharger on Microtech ECU with 3 bars boost, contributing 462HP at the wheel.

People condemn me that 4AG is behind time, now I am trying on rotary Turbo with zero knowledge. It took me 3 months to find spares to strengthen the suspension with S13 front whole set for the front absorber. and a shorten Toyota LandCruiser Axil with LSD 4.6 ratio.

Just completed rebuilding my 13B rotary 3rd generation engine with racing Apex seals..... and ported rotary housing......and mounted on to my Datsun B110 coupe in 2 days. Now I am building the GT42 turbocharger with racing parts. Hopefully I can built the turbo manifold and fitted the turbocharger onto the engine by next week.

Still there is lots of work on installation of fuel pumps & lines, Microtech MT10X wiring...... hope it is a successful last project on my car racing hobbies.

I do have 4 units of Savanna RX7 turbo and one unit of Metal Pearl blue Mazda RX8 turbo Limited Edition specially requested the Japan Mazda factory to build for me. It works pity well without problems for 3 years on 1.5 bar boost but that RX8 is producing excessive heat on water and M-oil temperature perhaps due to Malaysia is a quite hot country.

I am working on this without any guildance and hopefully I can find teachers/experts here to give me advice and precautions when playing with rotary Turbo on small car.

I am from Miri, East Malaysia. Datsun B110 coupe is very rare now and impossible to look for new body part spares.

I am rebuilding one unit of Datsun B110 coupe and also am intending to put in a modified B13 rotary engine.

The original coupe rear Lamp set is very old and look ugly. Anybody can advise me the website where I can order them, new ones like:-

Rear lamp set,
Front grill,
Rear bumper,
Side chrome cover for the both side rear ventilation holes
....etc

Meanwhile, anyone can sell me a good racing camshaft for B110 A12 or A15 engine

Please e-mail me to : jvml1207@yahoo.com

Thanks very much.

I have 2 units of B110 Datsun. One is 4door sedan and the other is a 2 door coupe.

The front suspension of both cars were replaced by Nissan Siliva S13 front suspensions complete set with adjustable absorber, arms and disc brake. Not much work is required. The installation is very easy. Extra hole is drilled an the absorber mounting frame for the adjustable track absorber. The arm is fitted well in. Repositioning of the Satty bush and the stabiliser bar are required.

After replacing with the above Nissan S13 whole set of suspension, the front B110 wheel base will be very much wider. The car run very stable. You can lower down the car. The new front brake works perfect and the front suspension sinks down once the brake paddle is activated. In cornering, you will find much confidence in the new modification. Please try out my above project.

I put a heavily modified Toyota 1.6L 4AG turbo with racing cams and garrette TO4 turbocharger..... run on Microtech ECU (35psig), producing 450HP into my 4 doors B110 Black Datsun.

The other 2 door coupe with a lightly modified 13B rotrary Turbo, T04 garrette turbocharger, ported Rotary chambers, 3mm Apex seals......run on Microtech ECU as well 453HP(25psig boost) in it. You will certainly like it and could not be bully among the big monsters in the drag race. They can easily clocked 10.5 sec in 0-400m. The only defaulty is both the cars have too much tyres spins even you use fully slick tyres.

Datopower,

At present, I am outstation and shall be back home soon.

I have the experience to fit a 4AG turbo into a Datsun B110 (year1967). Prior to fit it, though it is just a 4AGE engine, it is quite powerful, so the frame where the engine rests, front suspension and other tag welding should be strengthen first to absorb the stress delivered from this 4AG engine!

1) The front 2 set of suspension, arms, absorbers and disc brake can be easily fit with a S14 Nissan siliva or toyota AE86 with minor changes at the stabliser bar, absorber mounting frame and ball joints and steering adjustable rod.

2) Good skill and patience is required to install a C20 Nissan whole set of pneumatic brake pump and frame into the driver side (for Asian-left hand driver car) just over the steering rod. Precision installation is required to get the required angle for the brake to operate well. This purpose of fitting an inside passenger brake pump is not to obstruct the engine to fit in the engine bay.

3) Next, replace your whole rear axil with a AE86 complete set c/w 4.3 or 4.1 LSD gear box. This rear axil should come with disc brake! Try to look for an bigger drive shaft model in preparation for upgrading.

4) The entry for the mid gear box on the B110 should be enlarged a lot more to accommodate the size of the 4AG gear box. This is easy for you to install the engine together with the gearbox in one go and to replace any clutch linning.

5) Adaptor mounting seat for the 4AG to rest on the B110 base is home made.

6) When the engine is installed, now come to the drive shaft installation. Try to use a bigger drive shaft. Lastly is the electrical wiring. The old wiring is removed and the car is to be wholely rewired. For 4AGE engine, you can use back its standard ECU. However I use an aftermarket Microtech ECU.

Hint, for the purpose of upgrading to turbo, please replace the 4AGE mid gear box with a 3T gear box (precision matching, cutting and good AL welding are required) If you did not center or match the #T mounting to the 1st first 4AGE mounting. You will have a pain in the neck to feel our gear box is crying or rattling!

Sir, It is a great fun to drive a 4AG turbo in a Datsun B110. It is very light and have very good pick-up. So your suspensions work must be very good. Otherwise, the car will move like a snake. I am very luck that my mechanic and I have built the above suspension very good. The car runs very steady from start to 35 psig high boost!.

I try to shoot some good photos and e-mail to you on what I have done on 4AG engine conversion to my Datsun B110 car besides from my photos shown in the website:

Keep in touch.

dimlight65,

Thanks for your kind info. I will login to see if I can get something out of it.

From my 2 doors Datsun B110, I have replaced the 2 front suspensions and the rear axil with S-14 suspension & Toyota AE86 full-time LSD 4.3 ratio. All are the 4 brakes are discs. The brake pump was replaced with a C20 Nissian pneumatic brake pump inside the car just under the steering rod!. This is a very difficult modification to make more room in the engine bay.

If there is so much difficulties to order the racing parts. I shall change my plan to transplant a 12A rotary (ex engine from my 1st generation RX-7) into it.

This is my 2nd project on a N/A datsun for a drag race. My first project is a Datsun B110 4doors with a 4AG turbo and it is a very successful project and is running well. You can view it at:
