A14,
Do you know the year (or close to the year)? And are you talking about the brass rings?
Let me know and I'll see what I can find.

If it is an A12 motor:
15208-55Y00
15208-H8904
Although I don't have a catalog for a 1000.
These are the two #'s that work for 1200's

30,000 miles is when we do a coolant flush in our shop (Nissan dealer).
The power steering and brake fluid seems to be more random and I don't see a lot of this done at specific intervals, but if it were my ride I would do them at the same time as a coolant flush.
One thing to note....if your vehicle has high mileage, and the flushes have never been done, I would be wary of doing the P/S and Brake flush...it may cause leaks, or so I have been told by my technicians.

my 2 cents worth

Ha Ha,
Dodgeman, you and I must be close to the same vintage. Of course I was the poor boy in the neighborhood and had to rebuild a hand me down Huffy to ride around with all the rich kids that had a mongoose or a redline(?). Somewhere around 1978 or 1979. Never did get a cool BMX bike.

engine oil: Castrol 20w50
coolant: Nissan long life coolant and Distilled water...50/50/mix. In this area we use distilled water because we have very hard water that leaves deposits.

Note: just cause I posted this, it dosen't mean I know what I'm talking about

Like repair history, body repair history owner history? That type of stuff or what it came with?
If you want to PM it to me I can try to see what model and trim level it is.

Have you tried Carfax?
