yeah just ask for the old school style mk1 chin spoiler, some of them call it a "duck bill" spoiler.

Yeah it used to be terrible, I am running this Saturday with the new much stiffer front springs to see what sort of difference that makes, at least the new 225lbs springs feel similar in body jounce to the rears now, still perfectly comphy for street use but should help a lot, I think with the sway bars and the lengthend lower control arms and adjustable tension/castor rods she should handle just fine.

great to know! I hope they arrive near the end of this month!

Sounds like it will be the perfect mod for my class I run, should also help stop the back wheel loosing traction in corners little bit as im still saving for an LSD.

I was looking now, I see the 1200 they had in the old Competition Parts catalog looks identical, awsome stuff!

Thanks!

Wow much better outcome than I thought!

The grill was factory fit on the 74/75 1200's sold in SA, spent 3 years looking for another without luck, probably the part I am most nervous about restoring on my car as I am in the proccess of doing the body work,,, what fun!

Mk1 as used on the origional GTi's

So you guys think it wont look to "rice" or out of place? trying to keep the Datto 100% old school and of era, Only reason im thinking about it is that it will help a huge amount with air flow over the radiator and it is FIA homoligated

Its for a VW rabbit, cost me all of about $85au and is near perfect fit, better than most items made specific for the 1200!

For my 1200 I use in Marque class racing? very similar to the old style chin spoilers they used in the 70's and 80's so i will be alowed to use it.
