you must also take into consideration that when people do these engine swaps they also generally do a whole lot more than the engine, the cars that are selling for $10k and over generally have been resprayed and the bodies are in very good condition.

My ute is an A series and everything is as if it just rolled out the factory and I love watching all these other cars go for so much because it know that it drags the price up of mine... There was also another little white ute that surfaced a few days ago (in a thread on here) and its a beautiful mostly original example, I would think it would be worth quite a bit.

very impressive little ute... did you do the work to it? would love to see some pics of the engine...

Except for the mirrors, shaved ass end and wheels it could almost be mistaken for mine...

just looking at the history of this car (from long before you got yours Andy) and its evident that there is something suspect about it...

But yeah any car that comes from another state has to go threw blue slip regardless of rego or not, thats why my ute is still in the garage...

I havent really kept track of who owns my fave cars... I just look at them and go... dam thats hot... but from my memory here are my opinions....

1200 sedan - Benny's, didnt even have to think twice,

1200 coupe - A little purple one with loads of chrome on the a series, I got a few pics of it at home...

1200 wagon - cheaters if he ever finishes it... lol

1200 ute - mine... obviously...

And for all the others, I reserve my opinions...

EDIT: I only like A series so no engine swap cars make to to my list...
