I saw a pic ages ago -
My mate that i bought my ute off showed me what he had in mind.
It was a plain, neat, white ute with a nice set of wheels
and it was sitting in the weeds. It looked like it came up to peolple's knees!
It was done in really good taste.

Wish I could find that Pic again!

(I'm pretty sure it was here in Oz too)

I first became interested is when I was passenger in my mate's XY Falcon - A very tough car that I thought was the duck's guts!
We pulled up at a set of lights and a little Datsun 1200 ute pulled up beside.
Both Drivers smirked at each other - lights changed and we were off!
Big stall, good launch and a shift to second saw us drifting sideways
...Next thing, this tiny little Datto came skating past us trying his best to keep the thing in his own lane!
We had the big Falcon Valve bouncing and the pint sized ute was off into the distance.

I bought a Datto sedan 2 weeks later

I later had
1 x 1600 with L20b, webbers etc
1 x 1200 stock sedan 75,000 miles
1 x 1600 imaculate daily driver
1 x 1200 351 clevland V8 with C4 auto
1 x Bluebird TRX 1 owner imaculate ( items still in plastic! (Is that allowed to be counted)
1 x 1200 ute Ca18det (current) in the build

Very true Chris...

Except - The Datto 'usually' does what it's told, unlike the kids... so that would be a tough decision. Kids / Datto. (Lol)!

(That WAS a joke DoCS)

But I would try my best to keep it tappet, It is an awesome car.

Have a look at this,
It's not a Datto, but the dude is thinking out side the square... I like it.

Havn't got that far yet, but I was just about to buy a set myself.

Are you using the 12 point head or Hex head bolts?

Even If someone had their engine built by someone else, and still had their contact details.
Any info would be great.
