Amazing find DD, and kudos to Pitroad for the foresight and engineering to preserve and improve these lovely jewel-like gear boxes. I want circuit exclusive noises for my gear box! Any thoughts on whether the synchros, the steel front cover and the new center plate will fit the close ratio 4-speed boxes?

From the photos, it looks quite straight and mostly rust-free. I dig the nicely preserved dash & glove box. Bonus points for the Datsun dealer-installed accessory tach.

Pic set manages to not show the interior or engine bay, but specs sound interesting:

Tom, thanks for the pix - that helps. Looks like the Addco (?) bar you have is bass-ackwards from what the Datsun 1200 Competition Suspension manual calls for. The comp sway bar points the other way round, (with the ends pointed forward) and loops over the axle assembly. It does not mount to the body, but rather to the leaf springs with (2) bushings/clamps per side. Tension on the bar is adjusted by sliding the bushings forward or aft to suit conditions. I think that Trevor Harris had that design down pat from the day he laid ink to drafting paper.

Very tidy survivor sedan! While the tachometer is a bit redundant in an auto 1200 (even with an A14 onboard) the Australian-sourced rocker cover is a nice touch.

Shipping the rolling shell might be doable, (I had it shipped from Wisconsin to California) but shipping all the loose bits might be problematic, especially the front clip. The trucking company I used got a bit huffy about the parts stuffed inside the car until the sender wrapped the cabin with industrial strength opaque Saran Wrap to keep things somewhat secure. Even then, curious little fingers had cut the wrap to peek inside during it's trip from WI to CA.
