Beautiful car. I imagine with the short wheel base and 180hp on tap that they are a hoot to drive. There's nothing quite like pitching a non-wing dirt car sideways into a 90mph turn with 19 other hooligans, all trying to be the first one to the next turn! Good luck on the motor sale!

That's some beautiful engineering gone into a humble A14! Nicely done. Is the Australian speedway car equivalent to the U.S. mini-sprint or is it more like a midget class racer?

The ad says "Libres" but it is hard to tell from the pics. Note the unusual looking front bumper. It's straight and has chrome on it! He lives about 15 miles away from me if anyone on the other side of the country/world who is serious about a running project needs a pre-purchase look-see. Owner thinks the Libres are skinnier copies, says no rust in floor, 4-speed.

Tatty looking, but mostly straight & original coupe/4spd. Can't tell from pics how the floor pans look, but no obvious exterior rust thru.

Holy kitty litter, Batman! Let's see...if I leave now, I can get to Bakersfield by sundown, load the sedan on the trailer, get back here 'round midnite, then leave early tomorrow for the Datto meet at the Datsun Heritage Museum in Murietta.

Durn tootin' its a good deal! With all the hot rod parts, spares and especially if the seller includes those way cool studded snow tires all 'round! Of course, if it has been used for ice racing or winter driving, the rockers and floorpans will be toast, so a dry Southwest donor body will need to be rounded up. I heard of one being available in Las Vegas for cheep...
