i actually dont mind it been high, im quite a shorty haaha. But im gonna go get some flat 5x50 right now. thanks for the help guys, il let you know how it goes.

Thanks heaps DatsAndy. That what i thought, i read off the rta site that if i use original rails and that, its an 'owners minor mod' and they dont need engineering.

a 30mm thick washer? where do i get these? they would help. so what width do i get the flat bar and what bolts do i get?

They dont stick out the side. Hmm that helps actually. What width do i get the 3mm in? and what size bolts should i get? ill go get it all now. When i drilled the holes i done them tiny so i had now play...

If i line the rails up with the holes on the seats the the rails are to close together to bolt to the mounts on the car. So the flat steel makes them go futher apart if you get me.

damn your quick DatsAndy!! Well thats what m trying to do. Bolt my seats to my original rail, but they are just off. So i was trying to use the flat steel to bolt to the rail then bolt that to the seat. Did that make sense?

Well i tried using flat steel, but found it impossible to bolt it up, something would be in the way of tightening up a bolt. Did you guys/girls use flat steel or RHS?? If RHS, did yous have problems getting them engineered? And what typr of bolts did you guys/girls use? Thanks for any help.

i thought bout putting the gearbox in, i done it once. But since its getting a new clutch, he can do it all. I dunno how to do the clutch.
