i just got my rego done last week the guy said its legal as long as when engineered it is deemed as a a traction aid and is properly mount and shortened, the rego guy has an sr20 non turbo 200b race car over 150 grand spent and non turbo!!!!

thanks for clearing it up i removed it last night but forgot to plug the i/c pipe fitting and the engine wouldnt run then i realised after i put it back together it was ok hahaha ohh well.

yeah i have removed that but thats not the one, its the one near the fuel rail. i dont think it can be removed......

arde you talking about the block with the intercooler pipe going into on the side of the plenum? i want to remove mine as well, so alls i have to do is readjust the tps to get the idle right? mine wont idle below 2000 revs and it has all new injectors new fuel pump cleaned afm everything is new

hey guys just did full rebuild got it regod today after new tyres exhaust and stuff i ran it in this arvo and it goes well, what times do a 2008 sti wrx do, i raced one tonight and smashed it on 7psi, not to brag but think i did good for first ca18det rebuild anyone else have car race stories??? maybe the next 1/4 mile log

i like that daz if you dont like work dont start also if you get too pissed off that you might end up selling it dont start either there are many reasons not to do swaps but the reasons for outweight them immensely especially with a ca18det as you know its gonna fly and not dissapoint, if a ca18 1200 doesnt excite you you might as well neck yourself.....

thanks for the replies sorta reinfrcedwhjat i was thinking dattodude, i done have butterflies i have removed the plates and tiewired the rod so it cant move and is at its least restrictive i didnt bother removing the rod so i didnt have to weld any holes.is there any way of checking the coilpacks without getting new ones?
