I prefer the better quality plugs, like Platinum or Irridium as they will fire a spark across a given gap at a given compression pressure, at a lower voltage that standard plugs. These aren't exactly cheap, but the good stuff never is. On the upside, they might just outlast your engine.

Platinum plugs actually DON'T run as well as normal plugs. People just think they do because they cost so much. The reason they are used is because they last consderably longer (like 100,000+ kms). Mostly you won't notice the difference. I run Iridium's on my Subaru without a problem, but when I tried them on my 13B turbo the spark broke down at around 6500 rpm.
I've also read dyno tests that consistently show a drop in hp with platinums (stuff all, but still a drop).

Anyway, good to hear you're enjoying the Webers
Is that 100hp at the wheels? Cause thats pretty good!! My A15 with twin 40's made around the 65hp mark I think from memory

I can't recommend webers enough! Although 45's are probably too big, I had 40's.
I got mine second hand bolted them up and without even tuning they were a huge improvement. They even had odd-sized jets in them. Fuel economy was a little worse but still good, and they never missed a beat while I had them
They're now in B120dat's ute and I haven't heard any complaints from him about them.
The only downside is they are expensive new and hard to find second-hand. I don't think they would be worth the price brand-new

But, I'm yet to hear of someone being defected for it provided the intercooler is located behind the grille, bumper, beaver panel

I was with someone when they got defected for a front mount that was behind the grill, with nothing sticking out at all to be seen. And the radiator support was un-touched. It all comes down to how much of an a_sehole the highway patrol wants to be

looks like US$90 just for shipping!!!! Plus US$120. I wouldn't buy them for that, but if you can get them for $140 shipped thats pretty good.

Edit: Oh, I see....the yellow ones are cheaper

I've seen a few FJ20T 200B's that I thought were pretty cool, but you're right there's not as many done-up ones going around as say 1600's or 1200's. If you could find a 200B coupe that would be cool with an FJ20 in it.
Another option is an old Stanza, they're pretty easy to find. And I like the look of the later ones with the square headlights when they are cleaned up a bit.

What are you going to do with the ute shell??? You should put up some pics of it for us to see

Unless your going to race it.Really having put a 13B into a old car I think your better off to get a bigger TV and some DVDs that would be a better way to spend your money in my view.

Sitting on your a_se watching DVD's is more fun than driving a fast Datsun????
Where do you get DVD's like that from?!?!?!
