This is getting weird or big bro has landed.
I have a google ad for deformation lawyers on my screen as I read this thread.
Is this a coincidence or a placed ad?

The motors are still available but I have interest from a Sydney member so I'd rather sell them up here than ship them at the moment.

Hi, I'm up north at the moment with the missus sorting out some family stuff.
Just been to the Toowoomba swap so its not all bad.
I have a ute that would suit you in Sydney with at least 6 months nsw rego.
I bought this in Cobar about 4 years ago and removed any rust at TAFE .
I then painted it in acrylic at home for my son. We spent heaps on it new screen and rubbers, urethane bushes 120y discs and sway bar. Still 1200 but carby was RS so has a weber and extractors. Pirellis on steelies plus 4 jellies. Coupe dash etc but still stock for the RTA.
However he wanted a car to go skiing in so bought a Subaru.
I have used It as a daily and garaged it every night.
I have started to use it to carry stuff and am marking the paint plus my back doesn't appreciate the ride.
I am an old bastard!have just bought a Falcon 1tonner on gas.
I have a mate in Sydney who has offered me $5k for it on getting settlement for sale of property.
If this does not happen when I get back to Sydney I am happy to bring it down to Canberra for you to check it out.Mid Feb latest. Can supply pics etc but not sure from up here.

Chris,
Do you have drawings?
I will be retiring next year and have the gear in my shed to make the pattern and corebox for sand cast.
I have been modding some patterns for a histerical race dude up here in Sydney for Elfin mag wheels, the patterns suited from 6 to 14 inches wide and he couldn't figure out what went where. Had to turn up a few bits but their now at the foundry and ok.
Do you have a tame non-ferrous foundry down there?
I have lost contact up here 'cause so many have closed.
Can probably chase up the one being used for the wheels once I retire.
Bumped into the last TAFE teacher recently he said there is 1 patternmaking apprentice in NSW and he does block release in Qld.
Illawarah TAFE has the foundry set up, don't know if they still have the classes for non-trade anymore.I went in the 90's and they had steam nuts, car and bike resto bods and sculptors, they would only pour what you could lift in a 2 man ladle. Induction furnace would melt cast iron in 20 minutes. If any one is going to use 3D stuff for patterns don't forget draft and contraction.
