Just pulled them off a set of struts I bought. I don't need them. If anyone in Brisbane wants them before I throw them you are welcome to come and pick them up.

Ph 0414 401 694 Don't post, just fone.

If I don't answer leave your number and I will get back to you. I keep odd hours.

My bad...I assumed most turbo engines had rising rate regs as my last efi turbo engine had a fuel pressure regulator that was hooked up to a boost/vacuum line as was the MAP sensor.

I agreee with the comment about the MAP sensor on the delco not being able to read positive pressure is most likely your problem.

You need a rising rate fuel pressure regulator at least. All factory turbo engines come with them. Also a map sensor does sense boost as the map sensor takes it's reading from a line that experiences boost and vacuum. Check that the line that is running to the map is experiencing boost and vacuum.

Go to Wacol Self Serve Wreckers. They are $35 a strut there.

That's the way it is these days. Mummy and Daddy buy them whatever they want or the bank gives them the money and they go buy the most poowerful car they can find. I just talked a guy at work out of buying a 12sec skyline the other day as he has never driven a fast car or knows how to drive properly anyway. I told him he would kill himself in no time.

As for me, I have cut my teeth on underpowered cars and kept up with guys who have spent big bucks on fast cars because they lack the skills. Now I am building a fast car. I know my limits.

For turbo stuff check the tech section there is an article on turbocharging that has been pointed out quite a few times now.

EFi is the best setup but also the most expensive. Basically the computer runs t he whole show. Injectors, throttlebody etc. The advantages of efi is you can use an intercooler.

1 turbo is easier to setup than 2 turbos and with the new technology available with ball bearing turbos there is no need to worry about lag.

No not all a12 pistons are flat tops. The ones that I just pulled out of my a12 were the dish style. I had them decked to make them flat top and lower compression.

Here is another variation on the stanza struts theme.

Stanza struts with S13 sr20 turbo vented rotors and r32 four spot calipers. Nice big brakes which should pull up hard! The bonus is that the four spots are alloy.

This is the setup I am planning to use on the club car. Thanks goes to Kev Rowley for this one. He is maching up the discs to suit for $100. If your in brisbane and want to get this done let me know and i can get in contact with him.
