Going through the archives thanks to this thread I came across the 'regarding turbocharging a12' thread. Hopefully L18_B110 and myself will be able to add some very useful information to this topic as pretty soon his old turbo setup will live again.

This will be a draw through setup mounted on a proper split pulse turbo manifold running an SU as induction or, if I can get my hands on one, a DCOE side draught weber.

The car will primarily be used for racing purposes but I am quietly confident it will prove reliable enough and smooth enough to drive everyday if one so wished. I shall try to provide piccies along the way.

Harry, good to hear you clocked some good times. Can't wait to get started on my little beasty so I can perhaps make the odd supersprint meet.

Oh yeah.....get friendly with fulcrum. Because whatever you get try that works I will have a crack at doing on mine.

Gotta keep up with the competition.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys. As for the name, it is one I've used for ages and generally speaking I have only had one turbo, however, the 1200 will have a hairdryer hanging off the side of it.

Hi guys and girls,

Thought i would say hello as I have just recently joined the board. I am not a 1200 owner yet but I shall be purchasing L18_B110's sedan in a couple of weeks to use for racing purposes.

I was using a Toyota Sprinter but that has since been relegated to daily driving duties. L18 and others have convinced me to use the 1200 as it is cheaper and easier to modify. From what I can see this is going to be quite a fun little car.

So Hi and I guess I'll see you guys around the board.

Generally speaking I won't post unless I have something useful or meaningfull to say. No need to waste posts.

Besides I don't even have the 1200 yet, speaking of which I should be able to pick it up by Australia Day. You will have your cage very very soon. ;)
