Coilovers all round rock. Currently have the same setup in my sedan. Used the std rear springs to locate the diff and make an anti tramp setup.

PS: Hopped on to look for that picture of the coupe and the blacked out grill to see if I would like it on mine. First post I clicked on. nice work.

My A12 turbo is running. It currently has a brand new vanette clutch kit in it. It isn't up to the task and is spinning in 2nd gear at 6000rpm. The car isn't even running its max boost or fully tuned yet.

My question is does anybody out there have a heavy duty clutch kit there that they aren't going to use? Will you let it go really cheap or swap for my vanette kit? The budget is empty and I need to get a clutch so I can properly tune it.

The problem with the Toyota Blowers is they have teflon coated blades. By running fuel through them you will eat away the blades. You will need to setup a blow thru style or find yourself a roots style blower. I personally feel the little 660cc blower is little underpowered up top but works great down low. I have ridden in the WallyWagon and it pulls great from down low with heaps of torque. It misses out top end as the blower is running out of puff.

Ok I admit I am not up to date on the latest in the lower price range of the programmable ecu's. Therefore I retract my statement on Microtech. Maybe I was a little hasty.

However, having said that I have owned and had experience with these computers. Wolf 3D and microtech. The problem as I saw it (yes they were dynotuned and no I don't ride knobs anymore as there were no saddles big enough for my fat ass ) was a lack of load points. This problem may have been rectified. I agree these computers do a fantastic job of runnig an engine at WOT but light throttle left alittle to be desired. The higher end scale of computers, for instance a MoTec, can run however many load points you wish. This is my understanding. Therefore you can add in more load points and finer tune the light throttle section of your fuel map. Giving better response and cruising ability.

That's right we don't listen coz it still ain't cheaper. A micro wreck ecu costs a good $2g to purchase/install and tune. That is a crap ecu that runs almost like a carby due to lack of mapping points. Then you also have to redo your whole fuel system. Fuel lines, fuel filters, surge tank, pre pump and main pump. More money. My carby turbo job has cost nowhere near that. Take one inch and 3/4 SU, put it on the front of the turbo, fit small electric pump and tune. $500 worth of tuning and I was done. If you know the right people your you can pick up T25's already carbon sealed at a reasonable price or get your own sealed for $250.

You can get one from a Sunny with A/C. I had one lying around in the garage. Don't know if it is still there.

You will only be able to run the CT-12 in a blow through setup as you can't get a carbon seal kit for them.
