Hey there guys. Does anyone have any superbly immaculate 1200 seats, for both front and back located in Adelaide area? Mine are ripped to hell, and it costs a bit too much to get them all re-upholstered. They're for a wagon, (I'm not sure if the back seat is different because of this), and they need to be black. I'm just trying my luck to see if there's anything out there. Cheers guys.

Hey guys. I've been having a bit of trouble with my wagon lately, in that it wont fill up over $10 or so. When I go to fill it, even if its empty, I get some serious blow back. I can only squeeze the pump for a few seconds, otherwise it'll come racing back up, and spray everywhere. And if I do fill it up over $10 or so, it'll start leaking from beneath. Anyone got any ideas? I know the wagons do blowback a bit, but its getting worse I reckon. Could it be a breather hose? Any help would be appreciated. Cheers.

Think of it this way...At least you didn't have the wagon out and get rear ended... Tail-lights, tail-gate, rear bumper.... A real nightmare..

It looks pretty similar to the Valiant R and S series from the 60's. Pretty nice though.

Amazing car man. Nice video too. Thats the weirdest way of pronouncing 'Datsun' I've ever heard though. Sounds like 'Dartsun'. Keep up the good work though.

Speaking of air-con, how well do stock a12s run with an air-con unit in them? Are they rediculously slow? Or are they not that bad ie. they still move when you put your foot on the accelerator.

That's true. Every time I look at 'datsun 1200' ad, I'm praying that its a rolling shell of a wagon, just been rust repaired; primed; ready for spraying, and the owner lives around the corner and only wants a carton of beer...

Me and my mate tim (datwags) have one. He's planning a groundup restoration on his sometime. It's pretty shmick as is. Mines a bit rougher, and I'll need to do something on the panels sometime soon. They're both completely stock. We're in adelaide. the local datsport got quite a shock when we both pulled up in our 1200 wagons. Even they hadn't seen one for ages.
