Cheers for your comments guys. I might take it into Mad-dat so they can give it a look. It needs a service soon anyways. Cheers again.

Hey guys. I need some help with a problem I'm having. My datsun is misfiring, but at pretty weird times. If i try to accelerate too quickly, then the engine will miss and almost stall. If I dont put the clutch in, it does stall. Other then that, it wont miss until under load. I've replaced the rotor button, distributor cap. Will it be anything else electrical? Also, how much movement does the radiator coolant have in a stock a12 radiator. I flushed out my radiator the other day, and watched the movement of the coolant, and there was nothing. Is the water pump screwed? Cheers guys.

I think that if I buy an used one, then it'll probably break sometime soon anyway. A new one is probably the way to go. I've got some mates who are handy, so we'll see if we can thread it again. But, I'll still keep an eye out on ebay. Cheers for your comments guys.

Hey guys. I went to the auto store, bought some new oil, radiator flush, and coolant thinking all was well. I went to open the bonnet at home, and SNAP!, the cable broke for the bonnet release. Anyone know whether these can be bought brand new? Or whether anyone has run more wire through on of these before? Cheers.

The original 1200 wagons are more aesthetically pleasing anyway... So, I wouldn't bother.

Hey mate. Firstly, where are you located? Anywhere near Adelaide. And secondly, what sort of body type is the 1200? Sedan, ute, wagon, coupe? I might be interested if its a wagon near Adelaide. Cheers.

I know it's not fixing something, but the other day i needed to get into my brother's Kombi to grab something. It was all locked up, and I didn't have the keys. I tried my datsun keys....And, hey presto, it opened the car. That's two cars I've broken into with my datsun key, the other one being a Subaru 1800 wagon which I could start with it too. Talk about versatile!!!!
