80/90lbs seat pressure,240/260lbs nose(open)pressure will handle 8000rpm.sounds like to much pressure or not run in correctly or lack of lobe/lifter radius not right.

no1 .050 towards front, no2 .050 towards back, no3 .050 towards front, no4 .050 towards back. thats with a 3.188 (B liner). Got 1 here done (fresh never run bored to 80mm} and block filled top and bottom with approx 60mm water passage.

inlet valve sizes 40/41mm, ex 33/32mm depending on bore size,if bore size is 77mm or less, 41/32 valve are best so the exhaust doesnt hit side of bore. u may need to relief the bore if u go bigger exhaust.cheers

I got one very close to the same figures been in race car 4 seasons untouched approx 60/70 shows still going stong good leakdown results,normally refresh every season 20 shows , change rings /bearings /springs where needed,

methonal injected n/a a15 1548cc on engine dyno 184hp/149ftlbs torque, on chassis dyno open wheeler race car direct drive(dog box) same engine 178hp 7700rpm at wheels ...I was happy...
