correcto as always dodgeman.i have had it confirmed this afternoon. They do use these in some smaller performance apps though.new jets $8 each and full carby kit up to $70...hmmm maybe not worth it..it is in very good condition though.shafts donet seem worn and after a good clean with carby cleaner looks great..

The wreckers dont know what it came off but after some research i have found it fits heaps of vehicles.Similar to DGV but newer and does have electronic choke. It is 34mm and there is a Gemini website that adapts them to make the Gemmys go harder. The gemmy engines are 1600 so maybe it wont be too big for the bored out A15.

Hi All
I just picked up a Weber from my wrecker friends next door and i was wondering if anyone had used these before on an A15 engine? It says 34ADMOC on the side then serial 000982.Looks to have electronic choke.Im not sure what its off but if someone can help as well as tell me where to buy a suitable manifold it would be appreciated.

Hey heres a suggestion out of left field. What about a VVT Suzuki M18A engine. You can get them for next to nothing at the moment and you can fit a Jimny or Vitara box behind them. The transfer case is a separate unit so its a relatively easy fit up that way.Compact all alloy and i bet it weighs heaps less than the other old motors.Guys turbo them for rally ( actuallly we have the M series turbo kits at work)You can get some mumbo out of them.........but yes it isnt a nissan engine...

yep you get melted paint everywhere.I use various size paint scrapers and then the plastic abrasive wire wheels in either the drill or the big angle grinder for the large jobs. This doesnt hurt the metal and has a fantastic finish.I gtta admit the citrus stuff isnt as savage but geez id rather some extra time than cancer...wish the old owner hadnt got their friend to give it a new paint job..would have made my job much easier.Filler is for fine finishing not for filling golf ball size dents thats the hammer an dollys job

Yeah i watch my friend restore and paint in his business and since chatting with him every day i have seen how much work goes into getting it right.I also get to see some people who unfortunately paid a lot of money for someone to get it all wrong
Most of these guys charge $70 or more per hour and you should see the cars either left out in the weather while painting or absolutely chickers with filler instead of getting it right
