I am prepareing to port my head, and hav a few question's for people with talent?

*do you dowl the manifold so as to put it back in the exact same position?

*I would emagine removeing material from the bottom of the port is on no help as it would increas the angle of the turn into th cylinder, would I be corect?

*are there any gains to be made in the exhast port?

*reduding the gide in the intake port. yay or nay?

*reducing the valve stem(from guige to seat) and reradiusing vale to suit lift, any gain?

*Combustion chamber looks to me like flow could be improved??

Pro Race Taperd Bore Series
The tapered bore allows the air speed to be accelerated through throttle body for greater scavenging effect netting more torque and power.
Available in three sizes
45/43/40 45mm at ram tube face 43mm across the butterfly and 40mm at the manifold face
48/45/40 48mm at ram tube face 45mm across the butterfly and 43mm at the manifold face

There is a ute in a wrecker in gipsland(vic) that someone posted a thread about recently, I inquierd and they wanted $700 for a compleat car.

I was told there are mazda pistons that are 1mm overbour that will fit in an A siries without modification other than the bour, and that they are cheeper and more redaly available. if so wat model car or motor are they out of?
