Considering the video you posted of your dyno run had twin webers and worked as smooth as silk, theres no reason you wont reach 300+hp if the turbo is up for it.

In sweden they must the same kind of water you guys drink :)

I havenīt decided what turbo I will use yet but I have three different turbos on my workbench, I will choose between the GT25 and GT28.... maybe I will try them both! I would like to have a broad powerband instead of high peak power!?

Yeah, the Swedes sure drink the same water as we do, but there is still one big difference.... they have got plenty of $$$

I guess for Datsun freaks it is a permanent affliction.

Wait and see, 280hp and 690kg will be sick enough for me :)

....But in Sweden anything under 1000hp is childish?

The spring is approaching fast here in Finland and I finally got my parts back from machining last week, here are some pics of the 79mm bore A15 block and the modified conrods. I have also installed a Megasquirt managment system in the car. I will keep you guys updated!!

I love this project Sikyne, too bad I found it now and wasnīt able to guess the powerreadings before you got the result!? Sorry about the meltdown, I know how it feels after 10 years of turboing the A-engine! This gives me a clue what sort of power I could expect from my new turboed A16!? What is the comp.ratio in your engine? If I havenīt proven that the A-engine is an option for turbo estups, this thread sure proves it! Get it back running and go kick some ass!!

Cheers, Marcus

The A-series already uses heavy-duty main bearing cap screws. The stock Nissan ones are the same one used by the L28, Z24, and L20B engines. They are plenty strong.
