The a14 and a15 block are like twins, some small changes but nothing to worry about!! The a14 head will bolt straight on to the a15 block and it matches all the galleries..... a14 and a15 heads are also like twins despite the combustion chamber which is bigger in the a14 head like discussed earlier!!!

After the dragrace I took the engine apart to see if anything was damaged and that was 1.5 years ago, now my new engine and enginesetup is ready for the dyno but I will wait for summer!! What time is it in Australia now?? Here the clock is 10:10 am.......

Good luck with your project!!

The "squish area" is the area between the piston and the cilinder head when the piston is at TDC, the squish area is meant to be as small as possible, it pushes the fuel air mixture towards the sparkplug and gives better combustion. If you are using really big amounts of boost you can

Hi Michael, my oval port A14 cylinderhead"S" have 37cc combustion chambers, did you recognise the BIG "S"?! I have several of those heads..... but they are thousands of miles away from you. If you use this head with flattop pistons you will end up with a cr of 9,4:1 but with stock A14 pistons it will be more close to 8,0:1!! The problem with the A14 low compression head is that it kills power because you destroy the squish area by using this cylinderhead.

Hi 1200rallycar, It has happened a lot in my garage since I updated my homepage.... my turbocharged Datsun E10 is almost ready now with a new engine and much other new stuff!! At the moment I am helping my brother to build a A14 race engine for his E10. Another friend of mine (silverarrow on my homepage) is also building a race engine so there is much going on at the moment even if it is full winter here now!! I will post some pictures of my turbocharged E10. I want to thank everyone here on this forum, you have been very helpful and there are much valuable information on this site for us Datsunfreaks all over the world.......
