Any reputable gearbox place will do the job and all bearings and synchros are available still. But be warned, these gearboxes are not designed for burnouts or chirpies.

Just a note to let everyone know that my 9 year old daughter Myshka is being brave and doing the 2013 Worlds Greatest Shave and she NEEDS YOUR HELP!! to reach her fundraising goal.

She wants to shave her hair, not colour it! I guess she has been looking at my bald head for too long and is immune to baldies across the globe.

Lets face it, it's a good cause as it doesn't just help the people who have the blood cancer but it also helps the families of the patients and fills a much needed gap in the system worldwide.

Unless you have a vanette gearset, you don't want that gearbox. I've been as honest in the sale as I can. Thanks to Orange1200 for that.

Heres a tip from an old mechanic. As I have had to deal with many rounded head bolts over the years I have found this to work a treat. For obvious reasons, a single hex socket is best. Put some corse valve lapping paste on the head of the bolt before attempting to loosen it. The valve lapping paste will help it bite really hard into the bolt. It washes off. You don't want any of that stuff inside your engine though.

It's just a bloody bell housing Mik. It's a standard R30 5 speed bell housing. Stop your whining and bring a 63a over for repairs. I've never met such a procrastinator.

Whining on Deceleration won't be a bearing. Most likely noisy gears. Are you sure it's the gearbos and not the diff?
