'' I get by with a little help from my friends''lol ---Can the E16 crankshaft work with an A14 block. A15 are scarce and those at the importers are rubbish --just not worth it.

I was looking for an A15 when i saw this car [gumtree south africa] Datsun 1200 winner of the 9 hour race. The little 1200 just kept tickin' over and there was a lot of sour faces from the other manuf. I'm not 100% sure but it looks like the orig. and the owner is quite well known name.More cars on OLX eg. datsun with egi,AGE,v6 etc --sorry about the link

yes Bert i was watching the under 2l p/island 2016.I must say if it's a 1200 turbo it is quite fast just a pity he had problems in the first race. In race 2 and 3 he was back in the mix although he started way back.Bloody good for a 1200 turbo

dd geez you also using the word bakkie already lol. The word bakkie was used by the old boere -- they would say ''gooi dit agter op die bakkie'' --throw it on the back. The model you should get on the same page you got the bakkie. The two main colours were grey and brown interior. The heritage bakkie that was shown i have never seen here [could be i missed it]The best seller [looks] was the 1400 Champ --known as 'the bakkie that built south africa' cos all gov and small business used the bakkie.I think this is about 2006 ---a model just before the heritage

D you wrote quite a lot about the E16 crankshaft [same as lemonhead is using] and i had a look at the wiki and some other sites. I am still not sure if this was sold in south africa. Info wiki gives is nissan sentra fwd 1982 ---1988 and i think it is 1600. I know there were 2 types of sentras sold --box type with long rect rear lights and one with corner lights. Wiki shows b12 and b13 --so are they found in these vehicles and why is it called e16 crank.
